Your guitar is a time-tested cornerstone of popular music. Hook it up directly to pop's present and future with the GUITAR LINK UCG102.

The UCG102 is a USB interface that, like a guitar amp, receives signal from your guitar via a 1/4" input jack. A built-in USB cable then sends signal directly to your computer, where the amazing included software package simulates guitar amps and stomp boxes, in addition to tracking your latest masterpiece. It has a 1/4" headphone jack and PHONES volume dial so you can monitor your performance as you record, a CLIP LED to tell you when your signal is too hot, and a HI/LO level selector.

The UCG102 comes packaged with Native Instruments' "Guitar Combos" software that models guitar amps and stomp boxes. Take your pick of the PLEXI COMBO", TWANG COMBO or AC BOX COMBO for stunningly real amplifier tones. Sample them all, then activate the full version of the classic rockin' "AC BOX COMBO" rig. Native Instruments extends special offers to all registered Guitar Combos users, making it more affordable than ever to take advantage of their award-winning GUITAR RIG software packages.

Some older product boxes may still state that a software CD is inside. This is in incorrect, as Behringer no longer make these CDs the time taken between manufacture purchase meant that customers were constantly receiving out-of-date software that was no longer supported by the software manufacturer. Replacing CDs with downloadable software is now the norm in digital music retail; it is better for you, the customer, as it means you download and use the latest greatest version of software, rather than receiving out-of-date software which will be incompatible with recently purchased computers.

THE HISTORY OF MANNYS

When you shop at Mannys you don’t just get the gear, you get the knowledge and expertise of 25 years of experience as one of Australia’s most influential independent music retailers.

In the beginning…

After managing the Allan’s city store for 10 years, an ambitious Manny Gauci-Seddon decided to open his own music store. He wanted his shop to uphold the values of true support and after-sales service, and to form genuine ongoing relationships with his customer base. The trends of the industry at that time were pointing to more of a disposable, corporate mentality and so in the early years he set out to make a name for himself as a serious independent alternative.

The first store was a funky shop in Smith Street, Collingwood in 1991. By 1998 Manny had outgrown this store and saw the need to focus more on the upcoming computer based recording revolution. He established an address in Johnson St Fitzroy as the arts were booming on the north side of the city. In the same year the opportunity came to acquire a business on Chapel St – the Revolver Music Gallery. With a two store operation Manny was now making the difference he set out to 7 years earlier. The Mannys brand was known for knowledge and service, with the staff greatly sought after for their experience. Unlike the other major players, the focus was not just on sales but also on the process of making music.

When the opportunity came to consolidate into one superstore, the North Fitzroy address seemed perfect for the move. Manny wanted to expand his customer base to include more of the musicians turning to the internet due to the lacklustre service of his competitors. He took the best from both stores and moved his operation to the hub of music and musicians just north of the city.

In November 2016 Mannys was sold to SoundBay Pty Ltd, the operator of Australia’s largest DJ and production retailer, Store DJ. While the essence of Mannys Music will always exist, our mission for Mannys Music moving forward is to ensure that we continue to build the ultimate experience for our customers online or in store. Our sales staff remain knowledgeable, professional musicians first and sales people second. Mannys Music gives you one hub to purchase all of your gear, and if we don’t have it, we’ll try our hardest to get it for you.

Mannys – The best advice you can give a musician.
